Paintings of the people, by the people, for the people.

A collection of eye-popping, curious and mind-blowing examples of “found” amateur art, culled from thrift stores, swap meets, yard sales, flea markets and even dumpsters! The paintings range in subject from portraits to pets, religion to fantasy, landscape to abstract and a lot of ‘what on earth were they thinking?’

We’ve been collecting for years and have held a couple of very entertaining and successful exhibitions. We’d like to share our constantly evolving inventory with a wider audience, and are seeking suitable locations to visit.

In selecting  paintings for our collection we try to include something to please all tastes, and possibly upset some tastes too.

To paraphrase Abe Lincoln “Paintings of the people, by the people, for the people.

OUR RULES
